India or Bharat has been a land of sages Known for its knowledge and culture since ages We speak different languages and follow different religion Yet we all live here in unison Long before the world was debating about the earth being round or flat We knew exactly where the different stars and planets sat Located in between the Himalayas and the Indian Ocean Finding us was Christopher Columbus’ failed mission Ignorance makes the world think that we are an easy prey in a battle, Knowledge makes them realize, we are made up of different mettle. Do not ever think, we need to bow down and hide When as an Indian, we should beam with pride.

 Being an adult what did I gain? I wish I could be a kid again As a grownup I am part of a rat race As a kid, butterflies I could chase Today life is a nightmare As a child, I had nothing to care Now I have so many worries to heed Then a bar of chocolate could fulfill my need

Where do You want me to head? Show me the path to tread Do I sit idle and do nothing? I am sure there is some purpose for my being What is that will make my heart dance? I promise You will not regret giving me a chance I am not this body but the soul Being one with You is the ultimate goal

Seven colors define a rainbow but black is the color of my shadow Light keeps it alive else into darkness it will dive It keeps changing shape but it's me that it always tries to ape As long as there is light it never goes out of sight With me it will walk but never will it talk Events in life may make me sad but an indifferent attitude is all it had

I have a friend With whom fun sees no end Few steps away or oceans apart My friend is close to my heart Sunshine or gloom Our friendship never ceases to bloom I got something to say My buddy will listen; come what may Chances of us separating are odd After all friendship is a gift of God

I know my name But do not know what in life I aim? Is it fame? What role do I play in life’s game? Shall I make money and stack it in a heap? I do not know which mountain to leap My mind is so unclear Hope a solution is near Am I here to lead? Or just part of the creed So many worries to heed Divine help is what I need Fear of failure does crop Someday success will take me to the top The sea of uncertainty I will tide I am not the one to hide

When you do not know where you are heading Simply keep treading The path may not be clear but your destination might be near Do not fear because God is here The journey might be tough, but keep walking Close your eyes open your ears when HE is talking Follow HIS advice because HE is so very wise All your worries you got to share HE is someone who HAS time to care Do not criticize HIM for his silence instead thank HIM for his presence The world may think you are not right With all your might, stand up and fight To think you are a loser is a sin When actually you are born to win
