Let us fight the laxity of our administration

I found the following link on a blog written by Ritesh Kothari:

http://www.pgportal.gov.in/

I have used the above link to lodge my greviance against the state of infrastructure. I received a registration number for the same via email. At this moment, I do not know how effective it is. However, I thought it was worth trying out.

I would request all Indians to give it a shot. I am pretty sure every one of us is facing some issue or the other due to the incompetent nature of our public adminstration. Let us start questioning them. It just takes few clicks on your computer keyboard to initiate the process.

Pot hole ridden roads, lack of road safety, corrupt government officials, slow pace of infrastructure development work etc can be countered using the above website. Let us start a movement for a better tomorrow. Educated people like us have been guilty of not voting during elections stating that it is a waste of time as nothing will change. To bring about a positive change let us start using the website of the Department of Administrative Reforms And Public Grievances (DAR&PG) :

http://www.pgportal.gov.in/

There is nothing to lose. Five minutes of your effort could solve big problems faced by many of us. I have taken a step and would request every one to do the same. Also, after reading this blog if someone lodges a complaint, please make a comment on my blog post about your experience (positive or negative). I would be eager to know the effectiveness of DAR&PG. Let us all fight for a better managed India.

My daily travel to office and back has become very dangerous because of the pot-hole ridden roads and absence of streetlights on the Eastern Express Highway & the road leading to Powai from the Eastern Express highway. I had reported the issue long back and I have not seen any action on the same.

I ride a motor-bike to office and my life is at risk traveling on such dangerous roads during the monsoon season. I hope you will take some quick action on the issue.

I look forward to a positive reply from you.

It is 3 months now and the monsoon season is almost over. This is the latest message I have left on the following website because the issue I reported in May has still not been addressed.

Hi,

Please let me know why you are making a fool of people using the following website:

http://pgportal.gov.in/

Since, 15th of June, 2009 I have not seen any action on the issue I reported. I sent many reminders and that too have not been addressed. Please close down this website if you do not intend to solve the problems faced by the citizens of India.

Now I am going to see what other options I have to fight the laxity of the administration and also against this website that you are using to fool the citizens of India. I will fight to the finish.

Regards,
